Millhouses Accountancy are a professional accountants in Sheffield and were formed in December 2011 by Jason Scholey.

Jason is the sole director of the company and is a professional accountant in Sheffield. His experience amounts to many years in the Accounting profession.  He started his Accountancy career back in 1990 with the firm of Chartered Accountants Barber Harrison and Platt.  Since that time he has worked for a number of firms of Chartered Accountants.  He also spent eight years within the in-house tax department of a very large legal firm, specialising in personal tax.  On the back of gaining many years of very good experience in all aspects of Bookkeeping, Accounting and Tax Jason decided he would like to start his own Accounting practice.  At this stage, Millhouses Accountancy was formed.

As well as providing all of the core services you would expect an Accounting practice to provide such as Bookkeeping, Year End Accounts and Tax Returns Millhouses Accountancy in Sheffield also provide a number of specifically focused specialist services.  These include Capital Allowances on commercial buildings, Solicitors Accounts, Trades People and CIS, Virtual FD and advice and guidance for new start-up businesses on various issues and challenges they may face when launching a new venture.  We are Xero partners and offer training courses on how to use this market-leading, cloud-based Bookkeeping package in your business.

New Accountants Offices in Nottingham and London

In August 2017 a second office was set up in Nottingham which services clients across Nottingham and the East Midlands.

In July 2020 we opened our third office in London providing the highest quality accountancy and bookkeeping services throughout London

WHAT CAN WE OFFER TO CLIENTS?

We offer a very comprehensive business service to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the UK. This ranges from doing your Bookkeeping to preparing your Year End Accounts and Tax Return.  We can do as much or as little as you like.  We are more than happy to just do your Bookkeeping if that’s all you require.  Just let us know and we will do the rest.

As long as you provide us with all the information requested we guarantee to have your work completed and with you within thirty days. We will agree on a fee with you in advance before commencing any work.  We do offer flexible payment terms to clients so you can pay monthly by Direct Debit if you would prefer. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

For clients who do not take up the option to pay their bill by monthly Direct Debit we do ask for payment in full before releasing work to you and before submitting Year End Accounts to Companies House and Tax Returns to HMRC.

When taking on work from clients it is assumed that all information presented to us is accurate and factual and represents the business activities that have actually taken place during the year.  The company accepts no liability for HMRC & Companies House fines and charges issued to clients who have provided misleading and inaccurate information.
